let me tell you a story about a fat bird and a thin bird.
true story wor.
today while waiting for huimin, i saw a fat bird and a thin bird at the side of the road. they did not seem afraid of humans. the two birds were under a tree, and the fat one was standing on the root of the tree, hardly moving. the thin one, however, was pecking around excitedly and looking for worms i guess. the thin one moved on to another place when it realised that place did not have the food it wanted. the fat one, remained there, till after a long time then walked over slowly to join its friend.
then my mother commented that the fat one going to die soon. cuz it didnt want to move mah.
so this shows that we should be enthusiastic in whatever we do. dont hesitate or wait for other people to initiate. YOU should be the one to initiate. if everyone thinks like this, no one would be the odd one out and no one would be feeling shy or embarrased. because we all step out as ONE, nobody hiding.
living our life is about seizing our opportunities. treasuring your own life, and those around you. if you choose to be more active, more optimistic. im sure our life would be more meaningful that way.
if we never try, how would we know we would succeed or not? you never know until you try. trusting each other is also important. (:
